John and Lindsey Bamber have been friends to Nathan and I for quite some time now… Several years back, they invited our family
over for an amazing dinner. John is quite handy in the kitchen, and the from-scratch pizzas he created for us were just
delicious. We’ve enjoyed spending time with them at various different photographer functions over the years, and hope
to have the opportunity to spend more time with them in the future!
Yesterday, I had the opportunity to spend a bit of time with them on my own… And although I didn’t get to indulge in homemade
pizza, I did have the privilege of really getting to know the newest member of their family. Baby Jack is 10 months old, and
I was super excited to finally get to photograph him! We had met him briefly once before… but yesterday, I got a taste
of just how sweet and cute he really is.
His eyes are absolutely amazing. I was wrapped around his finger from the moment I arrived.

John and Lindsey are absolutely beautiful people, as well. Once upon a time, they modeled for a workshop
I was helping out with, and they were absolutely amazing in front of the camera. I knew my job was going to be easy.

They even did a little dancing for me… highly entertaining :)

The Bambers have added on to their house since the last time I was there… it was adorable before, but it is stunning now.
The great room is full of light, and was so fun to photograph in.

Jack loves being read to… and I loved capturing these fun expressions while they read together!

Seriously, isn’t he adorable?

The Bambers have another family member as well… This is Molly. Molly used to be an only child ;) She has
done an awesome job sharing her family with this squirmy, stinky, slobbery thing. I was highly amused by her
because you can tell she is just doing her best to tolerate the situation… and Baby Jack just wants to chase and
poke and prod and love her… all the time. So cute.

John actually enjoys Baby Jack’s toys more than he does… particularly the building blocks. Jack just enjoys
destroying John’s creations. Check out the excitement on his face :)

We enjoyed a bit of bath time… one of Jack’s favorite parts of the day…

Then it was time for a nap… Baby Jack had definitely hit sleepy mode, although what he showed me as “cranky”
certainly seemed tame and easy!

As I was about to head out the door, we remember one very important thing. Jack’s “car”! It’s his favorite thing to do,
because he can finally chase Molly the way he wishes he always could. I was so glad we remembered to capture this,
because watching Jack chase Molly around the house while Molly sought out safe places (like the carpet, he can’t
drive on the carpet) was absolutely hysterical. I loved it!

John and Lindsey… you guys were a dream to photograph. I have no idea what you were nervous about :)
Baby Jack is a sweetheart, and I can’t wait to come and photograph the three of you again. But before then,
let’s hang out :)
love,
amber.
