It’s funny how I find myself with the inclination to re-introduce myself… now that I have a new blog…
as if those of you who have found me here don’t already know me from Holritz Photography,
or from some other part of my real life. So although my desire to give a “welcome to my new blog” speech is
strong, I’m going to force myself past that, and instead share a bit of my lfe with you. Afterall, that’s what
this blog is for, right?
For Valentines Day this year, we decided to take the kids to Fire it Up. They had the opportunity to pick out a
piece of pottery to paint, and once we had painted everything (three coats with drying in between!) we left it
there for them to fire for us. I can’t wait to go back and pick the finished pieces up!
Before we left for our pottery fun, Nathan’s dad wanted to let the kids release the Valentines balloons that he
and Mom had brought for them.

Then the fun began… Grandpa helped Addy out, and Nathan helped Austen. I bounced back and forth between
both of them, and of course, documented the whole thing.
Addison chose a heart shaped mug…

And Austen chose a dragon/castle statue…

I’m not going to lie… I was kind of bummed that Nathan and I had opted out of painting something ourselves.
It looked like so much fun, and there were TONS of things to choose from!

I’m so thankful for my family. Valentines Day is all about love… but I am blessed to be surrounded by
love every single day. If you’ve somehow stumbled across this blog without having “met” me somewhere
before… that’s what I’d want you to learn about me, here at the inception of this new blog.
I love… and I am loved.

love,
amber.
