Rebirth Workshop… an adventure in the Delta. (part 3)

Wednesday night after dinner, a big group of us headed back into downtown Clarksdale to enjoy some live music at Ground Zero.  We had been informed that the music and the atmosphere would be awesome, and we were not disappointed. No great insights here, just a few fun images and some awesome music.

Rebirth Lesson #7- Sometimes there’s no lesson.

A few images of my fellow photographers… because photographers love photographing photographers.

Nancy

Rachel

Loved the atmosphere.

And truly loved the musicians.

This girl is only 18, and she’s amazing. She plays drums, guitar, and sings like no effort is required at all. Seriously talented. Her name is Jacqueline Nassar and her story is amazing. Shawn Reeder had the opportunity to take a few portraits of her, and he’ll be posting them on his blog soon… you should watch for them!

The evening ended with Razorblade doing a bit of crooning for us. His voice was perfectly smooth, and his manner on stage was compelling. I loved the light on him, and his many expressions.

Awesome evening.

Part 4… probably the post with the least images, but the story with the most impact for me… coming soon!
