Y’all know the drill… sing it with me ;) So this has been the year of the fast growing babies, it seems… and Baby Caroline wins the award for growing up the fastest. Not because she’s the tallest or the biggest ten month old that I’ve ever photographed… but because she started WALKING during our session! That’s right… I had the amazing opportunity of capturing Baby Caroline’s first steps. Happy happy day.
She’s been doing a lot of standing… Christie told me prior to the session that she thought Caroline would be walking soon…
But as you can see, she was still very surprised when Baby Caroline decided to go ahead and take a few steps during our session :) (I’m not gonna lie… this is quite possibly my favorite series of images ever!)
She’s pretty awesome :)
She’s also stubborn… and no matter how much we coaxed and pleaded, she wasn’t interested in a repeat performance :)
This age is sooooo busy. There’s so much to explore and learn.
Bowser and Gracie joined us for just a few minutes… Caroline enjoys terrorizing them a bit.
Such a happy girl :)
The summer has been so hot, that Baby Caroline has been enjoying her bathtime outside in the kiddie pool. I thought this was a brilliant plan!
What a big day! I’m pretty sure we were all almost as tired as Caroline was.
Time for a nightcap, and then bed.
